On May 24th Baby Nico came into this world at barely 25 weeks of gestation. He is a micro preemie baby, weighing in at 1lb 14oz. This little guy is a fighter and has been in the NICU since birth. Glo and Dan Nicolette are long-time members of the Tucson Strength community and we want to come together to help them offset some of their medical costs.

We came up with an idea that would be fitting for our strength community: We decided to put together a strength event and EVERY dollar raised for the event will go to the family!

THE EVENT:  SATURDAY, AUGUST 17th, 10:30am, We are putting together a fun event for all strength levels. It will include farmers carries, sled drags, sled pushes, and maybe even some tire flips, kettlebell swings, and other shenanigans. We promise to make it challenging and fun.

COST: $30 suggested Donation per entry, if $30 is out of the budget, give what you can. 100% of all donations will go to the family. We ask that you bring cash or check made out to Dan or Gloria Nicolette to register on the day of the event. If you want to use credit card, please donate to their GoFundMe and bring a copy of your receipt to register!

THE FOOD: At the end of the event we will be cooking out some burgers and hot dogs and host a potluck so everyone bring some sides, desserts, or drinks  to enjoy! Depending on how many participants we have we expect to start the food around 11:30 or noon!

You must RSVP for the competition on our Mindbody Page. You won’t pay for the registration online, but it gives us an idea of how many people will be competing and allows us to communicate with participants leading up to the event. You can bring your donations on the day of the event.
